Unhooked Quick Crochet Basket Workshop

Finger Crochet a Chunky Wool Basket

Imagine creating a lush, vibrant wool basket...and feeling really good about it!

I am going to teach you how to crochet a chunky, lush wool basket in about 2 hours with just your fingers.

And the best part...you use wool that's helping people who survived the devastating earthquake in Nepal!

So create a cute basket you can use for TONS of things (I use mine for diapers but plan to make it a scarf holder as soon as I can), help those less fortunate, and have fun doing it!

It's so simple, you can do it with your child or friends - even if you have ZERO crocheting skills!

Lifetime access means you can make as many as you want, and making it yourself means you can make it with or without handles!

And once you learn how, you can take your skills and use them to make items like e to make more baskets, other items like cat beds, poufs, toy baskets, and more. Once you start, you won't be able to stop!

Crocheting is easy and this training walks you through every step of the process. You don't even need to use a hook!

Oh my gosh this yarn...

Love Fest Fibers is a San Fransisco based company that honors the textile traditions of cultures around the world, from those on our West Coast to all the way in Nepal. Love Fest has partnered with a workshop in Kathmandu, where 40 women felt New Zealand wool into yards and yards of yarn. This yarn provides consistent income for those who suffered a devastating earthquake in 2015.

Love Fest Fibers have been a true pleasure to work with and I can say that you'll feel good about a company like this one. I'm not an affiliate, nor have I met these lovely souls in person. I definitely know good yarn and customer service when I met it!

This might be the best part: The colors!

The yarn is dyed in Kathmandu and currently, there are brights, neutrals, and pastels to swoon over; I'm only showing you some of the colors here! I made my first basket in Cherry Blossom, I can't wait to work up the rich red for a housewarming gift, and I have my eye on the graphite grey. I'm warning you; it will be tough to choose just one!

This is what you'll make!

How many things can you make yourself that look this cute?

Once you learn how to crochet, you can use those skills to make items that are more difficult. The only limit is your imagination and creativity! Plus once you get started, if you run into any hurdles I can always be a resource!

Worried that your crochet skills are a little rusty? Never crocheted before? WATCH THIS.

Meet your teacher, Jenny!

Hi Everyone, I'm Jenny! I blog at The Domestic Wildflower where I share weekly tutorials for beginners in sewing, crafting, canning, and other old-fashioned DIY. I'm a teacher in my daytime job and I love sharing my handmade and homemade skills with newbies.

"Jenny is such a blast to hang out with virtually and she really has an eye for making cute, trendy crochet items for the home. This finger crochet basket (and really, ALL finger crocheted chunky items) are SO in right now. Jenny makes learning and implementing not only easy but fun. I also can't say enough good things about Jenny's heart behind the yarn she uses in her crocheting events. The yarn used supports women in need in Nepal and that just makes the crochet fun even more meaningful. I will be crocheting this basket with my mother and sister and I think it will be such a special time. You don't want to miss this workshop! " - Brie Beeks, Blissful Bosses LLC
